JACKIE LOMAX war der Leadsänger und Bassist bei The Undertakers, der rockigsten, stampfendsten Mersey Beat Band der 1960er Jahre. Die Band zog 1965 in die USA und benannte sich in Lomax Alliance um. 1966 kam BRIAN EPSTEIN mit den BEATLES nach New York und bot JACKIE an, ihn als Solokünstler zu managen. Leider verstarb EPSTEIN unerwartet und das geplante Album erschien nie. Stattdessen wurde JACKIE als erster Künstler für das BEATLES Label APPLE gesignt.
Diese Veröffentlichung kombiniert Songs aus der 47-jährigen Karriere, die bis zu seinem Tod in 2013 andauerte.
Die Doppel-CD enthält unveröffentlichte Songs, rare Tracks und Jackies liebstes Livekonzert aus 1976 sowie eine deutsche Version von How The Web Was Woven.
