Pressetext: The most interesting of these is the re-release of a rather obscure Ringo release called OLD WAVE. This originally came out in 1983, but only in a few places. In the US it was released as a CD in 1994. But that was about it. It was produced by Joe Walsh and Russ Ballard and has been called „Ringo’s most overlooked album“ and „Ringo’s solo masterpiece“ by critics. It is due to be re-released on CD and LP in 2022. The vinyl packaging includes an OBI strip, single album sleeve, printed inner sleeve, original record labels and comes in a special brown and white smoked vinyl. It also includes a bonus track available on vinyl for the first time: As Far As We Can Go (early version).

Pressetext auf Deutsch: Die interessanteste davon ist die Wiederveröffentlichung einer ziemlich obskuren Ringo-Veröffentlichung namens OLD WAVE. Diese kam ursprünglich 1983 heraus, aber nur an wenigen Orten. In den USA wurde es 1994 als CD veröffentlicht. Aber das war’s auch schon. Es wurde von Joe Walsh und Russ Ballard produziert und von Kritikern als „Ringos meist übersehenes Album“ und „Ringos Solo-Meisterwerk“ bezeichnet. Es soll 2022 auf CD und LP wiederveröffentlicht werden. Die Vinyl-Verpackung enthält einen OBI-Streifen, eine einzelne Albumhülle, eine bedruckte Innenhülle, Original-Schallplatten-Etiketten und kommt in einem speziellen braun-weißen, rauchfarbenen Vinyl. Es enthält auch einen Bonustrack, der zum ersten Mal auf Vinyl erhältlich ist: As Far As We Can Go (early version).
